Meghann Broadstock
Class of 2002
I went to Redwood Christian School from 1999-2002, during my junior high years. Redwood Christian School was instrumental in preparing me for my high school years, and for my professional career as a Banker. The advanced curriculum and Christian education prepared me both in my education but in my ethics and morals that I carry into my personal and professional life even now.
My favorite memory of Redwood Christian School is the character trait awards given out each week at Chapel. I remember as a kid striving to excel in the upcoming character trait to have a chance to win the ribbon and have my teacher tell the school body why they thought I embodied that character trait. It enforced positive values but also made me strive to embody each trait chosen. They still practice this today, and both of my children that have attended the school have experienced the same. My favorite days picking them up from school was seeing them run toward my car waiving their ribbon, excited to tell me what character trait they won and the positive things their teachers said about them.
I would encourage any family considering Redwood Christian School to take that next step and come check it out! It has been instrumental in shaping me and my family and I am forever grateful.
